Wonderful dogs looking for a best friend to take them home.
Meet some of the current Jail Dogs waiting for that special someone to take them home. Jail Dogs are taught basic commands and all kinds of fun tricks. The inmates they live with until they are adopted take very good care of them and are responsible for all of the dogs needs. It's a win win program for both the dogs and inmates.
Most of the dogs are rescued from Gwinnett animal control. The Jail Dogs program was started by Sheriff Butch Conway and Dennis Kronenfeld Founder of Society of Humane Friends Georgia.
