Fun Events for a BOO-tiful Halloween

Atlanta loves Halloween.

Our friends at Red Tricycle Atlanta have put together a list of six fun things to do in celebration of the scary holiday:

FRIDAY:

  • Bring your brave little one to the Oakland Cemetery after dark for a creepy-cool tour, where you can learn all about Atlanta’s haunted past.
  • If the cemetery is too intense for your kiddo, get your fill of creepy tales and spooky ghosts on one of Atlanta’s popular ghost tours.
Saturday
  • Check out the coolest (and quirkiest) Halloween parade around — the Little Five Points Halloween Festival and Parade — where you’ll find folks in all sorts of crazy costumes.
  • Watch as Zoo Atlanta is transformed into Zoo Boo Town for Halloween. You’ll nosh on tasty treats, make festive crafts and enter the costume contests.
Sunday
  • Apples, anyone? Get your fill of the good stuff, along with handmade crafts and goods, at Ellijay’s Apple Festival.
  • Let Fido in on the fall festivities at Dogtoberfest, where you’ll find dog costume contests, food trucks, vendors selling doggie goods and more.
