Art Attack Program Wins Red Tricycle Award

'Art Attack has established itself as Atlanta's coolest art resource for your little Picasso.'

EAST ATLANTA — Art Attack, a group that meets weekly at Hodgepodge Coffeehouse, was given the Red Tricycle Totally Awesome Award for having the Most Awesome Art Classes for Kids.

Red Tricycle's Totally Awesome Awards allows parents to vote on the best family-friendly products, parenting tips and resources in their communities.

Art Attack, which was founded in 2012 by East Atlanta resident Susie Boggs Antell, focuses on kids and allows them to develop and channel their creative energies through art.

An artist and jeweler as well as a mom herself, Antell wanted children to be able to harness their creativity and create an outlet that allows their moms and dads to bond with their children through art.

Art Attack beat out nine other metro Atlanta finalists to win.

Said Red Tricycle about Antell's efforts:

Art Attack has established itself as Atlanta's coolest art resource for your little Picasso. Hosting workshops, birthday parties, and playdates all over ATL, Susie Antell brings the fun right to your doorstep! (And cleans up for you once the glitter has settled!) Offering a range of art-inspired activities, Art Attack will help your little ones bring their imaginations to life!
