Time Stands Still
Horizon Theatre Company, 1083 Austin Ave NE, Atlanta, GA | Get Directions »
$20.00
Widely hailed as one of the best new plays on Broadway, this Atlanta premiere is a moving and often hilarious story of relationships, mid-life crisis, and friendship, from Pulitzer Prize-winner Donald Margulies. Sarah and James, a photojournalist and foreign correspondent, have been together for years and share a passion for documenting the realities of war. When a bomb blast in Iraq sends them home, they are caught in a tug-of-war between returning to their dangerous, exhilarating careers and downshifting to the contentment of family life. To complicate matters, cohort and editor Richard is plotting to keep them home as he pursues a new simpler life with his much younger girlfriend Mandy.
From New York to Los Angeles and Boston to Charleston, critics and audiences can't stop talking about Time Stands Still, calling it "compelling," "engrossing" and as "timely as today's headlines." Don't miss your chance to see this powerhouse cast at Horizon.
Featuring Carolyn Cook, Chris Kayser, Robin Bloodworth, and Ann Marie Gideon.
