DESCRIPTION:Celebrate early Mardi Gras with the &ldquo\;Abominable Sidesh
 ow&rdquo\; featuring Tommy Dean and friends\, performing Friday January 
 25\, 2013 to benefit Atlanta&rsquo\;s Seed and Feed Marching Abominable 
 Endowment\, Inc. at the First Existentialist Congregation in Candler Par
 k from 7:00-11:00 p.m. Tommy Dean\, former leader of eight-piece Atlanta
  dance band The League of Decency\, now performs as a singing bassist wi
 th pianist partner Mike Ewbank\, thrilling audiences with jazz standards
 \, Rat Pack favorites and old school soul classics. Other notable local 
 performers on the program include Candler Park musician Dale Mann&rsquo\
 ;s &ldquo\;My Imaginary Band\,&rdquo\; a four-piece &ldquo\;crockpot&rdq
 uo\; of alternative rock\, rounding out the evening with a crowd-pleasin
 g blend of self-described &ldquo\;quirky but imaginative&rdquo\; music i
 nspired by alt-rockers like Cake\, Radiohead and White Stripes. Seating 
 is on a first-come\, first-served basis\; beer\, wine and food from The 
 Pickle will be available.&nbsp\; Mardi Gras costumes and dance shoes enc
 ouraged and appreciated. Tax-deductible ticket price is $20\, all procee
 ds benefiting The Seed and Feed Marching Abominable Endowment\, Inc.\, a
  501(c)3 charitable corporation formed 13 years ago to educate the publi
 c\,and particularly aspiring musicians\, in the art forms of marching ba
 nd music.\nBegun in 1974 as part of Kelly&rsquo\;s Seed and Feed Theatre
  in Atlanta\, the Band originated as a temporary musical component for o
 ne of founder Kelly Morris&rsquo\;s theatrical productions.&nbsp\; The m
 usicians recruited for this early band found they enjoyed &ldquo\;being 
 the band&rdquo\; and kept on playing together. The Seed and Feed continu
 es to shock\, thrill and surprise audiences with its zany costuming\, wi
 ld antics and frequently fabulous musicianship. The S&amp\;FMA leads the
  Inman Park Festival parade every year and has played at venues as varie
 d as the governor&rsquo\;s mansion\, Phillips Arena and Turner Field\, b
 ut still loves to perform at so-called &ldquo\;charity gigs&rdquo\; rais
 ing money for research on such things ascancer\, heart disease and multi
