Metro Atlantans are invited to gather on November 19, 2012 at Zoo Atlanta for TEDxYouth@TheBeltline “Unleash Our Power” the 2nd annual TEDxYouth event in Atlanta focused on teens and young adults that highlights their energy, skills and passion to change the world.
TEDxYouthDay is a series of TEDx events happening all around the world coinciding with Universal Children’s Day, from November 21, 2012. These events are designed to empower and inspire young people. Locally planned and organized by youth and adults who care about them, these events will vary in scope, format and theme, but they will share a common vision: inspiring curiosity, igniting new ideas and empowering young leaders. More than 100 TEDxYouthDay events in nearly 50 countries are organized for this year.
Organizing sponsor the Higher Ground Education Initiative has recruited local speakers and talent for an inspiring and refreshing event. This is not a traditional conference with panels and breakout sessions; instead, speakers will share personal stories of their journey and their Idea Worth Doing. Teenage and adult speakers are shaping their talks into engaging oratorical works of art.
