Make Homemade Paper: Thanksgiving and Holiday Cards Sunday, November 18, 2-4pm $20 Garden Member, $25 Non Member Start a holiday tradition by making greetings from heart. Join Pam Beagle Daresta, local artist, and she will teach you how to make homemade paper with fall colors and leaves from the garden. Participants will also get make usable homemade envelopes. Paper will be made from recycled materials and natural plant fibers. You may come solo or bring a child. Suitable for ages 4 and up with adult participation. All materials included. 5 person minimum. Advanced registration required.

More About Oakhurst Community Garden of the Wylde Center
Established in 1997, The Oakhurst Community Garden of the Wylde Center offers a wide range of classes, programs and special events for individuals, families and youth on such topics as organic gardening, sustainable urban living, nutrition and health. Its popular youth program is one of the metro-area’s largest and offers year-round educational programs. The two on-site gardens serve as gathering spaces, wildlife habitats and demonstration gardens. To get involved, be sure to sign up for a class or become a volunteer or a member.
