ntro to Beekeeping Sunday, November 11, 2-4pm $20 Garden member, $25 non-members Join our Bee Team Leader, Cassandra Lawson, and she will share her knowledge on bee-ing a beekeeper. Learn the basics: Best location to set up a hive, when do you order bees and from whom, where do you find your materials. Beekeeping suppliers often offer free shipping for Christmas, so come learn what products you need to order and save over a hundred on shipping. More About Oakhurst Community Garden of the Wylde Center
Established in 1997, The Oakhurst Community Garden of the Wylde Center offers a wide range of classes, programs and special events for individuals, families and youth on such topics as organic gardening, sustainable urban living, nutrition and health. Its popular youth program is one of the metro-area’s largest and offers year-round educational programs.
