Hands on Intro to Hydroponics : Grow more Faster!

Join Stephen Morrow of Atlantis Hydroponics for an introductory class into the world of hydroponics, learn the methods and build a take home kit to get started! Hydroponics is the growing of plants in an inert media while fertilizing them with salt based nutrients. Stephen will explain the different types of hydroponics and how they each respectively affect plant growth. 5 person minimum. Advanced registration required.

Established in 1997, The Oakhurst Community Garden of the Wylde Center offers a wide range of classes, programs and special events for individuals, families and youth on such topics as organic gardening, sustainable urban living, nutrition and health. Its popular youth program is one of the metro-area’s largest and offers year-round educational programs.
