Family Fun Baking Bread with Garden Herbs!

$10 Garden Member, $15 Non-Member

Join Javon Mckinney owner and chef for intimatefoodaffair.com in the garden for a fun hands on lesson on making delicious wholesome bread. We will pick herbs from the garden and add them to the mix. Each participant should bring a large resalable container to take fresh dough home. This dough can keep for up to 3 weeks! Fresh bread will be served as snack during the class. This class is suitable for ages 7+ . Children under 7 must have a parent assist. There is a 5 person minimum and 10 person max. You must register in advance for this class.

Established in 1997, The Oakhurst Community Garden of the Wylde Center offers a wide range of classes, programs and special events for individuals, families and youth on such topics as organic gardening, sustainable urban living, nutrition and health. Its popular youth program is one of the metro-area’s largest and offers year-round educational programs.
