Colors of the Beloved Community: The Art of Social Justice and Change Art Exhibit

The Auburn Avenue Research Library, in collaboration with Our Gallery and the Metro Atlanta Task Force for the Homeless, hosts the exhibit, Colors of the Beloved Community: The Art of Social Justice and Change.

The exhibit will feature artwork from the artists of Our Gallery - a gallery which offers homeless and non-traditional artists a venue to create, exhibit, and sell their work.

This exhibit will be open during the normal operating hours of the library.

The Auburn Avenue Research Library's extensive collection of books, artworks and manuscripts focus on African American history. The library's collections are open to the general public, students and research scholars free of charge, but the works are not allowed to be taken out. Any requests for a specific item or items in the collection are processed and retrieved by library personnel.
