Author event with Christal Presley
Join Bound To Be Read Books for a reading with Christal Presley, PhD, author of "Thirty Days with My Father: Finding Peace from Wartime PTSD."
A featured on CNN, (http://www.cnn.com/2012/11/04/us/veteran-daughter-ptsd/index.html) Presley has written a moving personal journey of the devastating effects the Vietnam War had on a family when a father returned home with PTSD. She is the founder of United Children of Veterans, a website that provides resources about PTSD in children of war veterans. More About Bound to Be Read Books
Bound to Be Read Books was opened in 2005 after Atlanta resident Jeff McCord realized there were no independent bookstores serving southeast Atlanta. His bookstore now has an impressive array of new and used books, discount books, CDs, calendars and gifts. It also carries a selection of rare and collectible books and staff will search for and special order any titles not currently in its inventory. The store is working on a used book buy-back program, as well as a "loyal customer" incentive program. Stop in to browse the shelves and say hi to Kona, the resident bookstore cat.
