Village Fitness Opening Date Pushed Back To Feb. 20
Build-out taking a little longer than expected.

Village Fitness, which had a target opening date of Feb. 1, is expected to open Feb. 20.
The build-out, which includes construction of mens' and womens' showers and lockers, is taking longer than expected, Scott Manwaring, one of the gym's three owners, told East Atlanta Patch on Friday.
The 24-hour gym is leasing 6,000 square feet of the old Ace Hardware store at 1231 Glenwood Ave. Village Fitness, which has a five-year rental deal for the space, also is leasing and another 3,000 square feet of exterior property at the site.
