Two Challenge Burrell Ellis for CEO Job
The two challengers are former law enforcement officers.

Incumbent DeKalb County CEO Burrell Ellis will face at least two opponents in the July 31 Democratic primary.
Gregory Adams and Jerome Edmondson have qualified to run for that office.
Adams is a former DeKalb police officer, a minister and has managed seveal companies, according to his website. He is a different person from DeKalb Superior Court Judge Gregory A. Adams.
Edmondson is a former law enforcement officer and is president of Edmondson Associates Business Advisors, according to his website.
Qualifying ended at noon Friday.
These candidates qualifed Thursday to run for office, according to the Georgia Secretary of State's office and the DeKalb County Board of Elections and represent or affect East Atlanta Patch communities:
