Police Release Video of Trio Wanted in Grant Park Shooting
David McReynolds was left to die in the street.
Atlanta police are seeking the public's help in identifying three men in a store surveillance video who are wanted for questioning in the July 26 shooting death of David McReynolds, a beloved resident of Grant Park.
"We are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the people shown in this video in furtherance of this murder investigation," Atlanta police said in a statement.
McReynolds, 54, was found on the sidewalk in front of 799 Hill St. with an apparent bullet wound to his chest, police said.
Residents in the area reported hearing at least one gunshot and saw three males running from the area but it was unclear if they were running because they were involved or running for cover.
McReyonlds had left this bodega shortly before he was shot.
The family with whom he lived for more than 16 years, told Fox 5 Atlanta they believe he was targeted because of money he won in a Georgia Lottery game.
Anyone with any information is urged to call 911 or Crime Stoppers Atlanta at 404.577.TIPS (8477).
