Oh I Get By With A Little With A Help From My Friends (In Candler Park)

Publix Georgia Marathon brings out runners. . .and those who cheer them on.

Sunday's Publix Georgia Marathon & Half Marathon drew some 14,000 runners from the Peach State, across the country and around the world.

But there was a another group of participants, neighborhood cheerers, those folks who got up in the wee hours to form support groups of encouragement as marathoners ran, jogged, sprinted or walked thr course from community to community.

Candler Park, which hosted part of the marathon's route was out in full force.
