Readers Choice 2012: Best Place For a Walk, Bike or Hike

The nominations are in, and it's time to vote.

You, the reader, have spoken, and you've nominated your favorite places in our community to walk, bike or hike without traveling too far from home.

Now, it's time to vote.

Cast your vote by August 17 and help us decide who's best. Whichever business gets the most votes will be named the Readers' Choice winner.

The poll will open to accept votes from registered Patch users starting on July 23 and close at 11:59 p.m. on Aug. 17.

Winners in all Readers Choice categories will be announced on Aug. 24.

Kittredge Park should be nominated. Kittredge is a 33 acre park located right behind Adams stadium, so it is in the immediate area. It offers hiking trails and picnic areaas and is getting ready to undergo construction to make it even more accessible. There will be a community garden and a pplayground area. In addition there is already a pool and two baseball fields. Vote for a local park!
