J.Lo, Cameron Diaz To Shoot Film In Inman Park, Little Five Points

Scenes to be shoot on Euclid and Colquitt avenues

Inman Park, get ready for your close-up — and closed-off streets.

The feature film "What To Expect When You're Expecting," will be shooting scenes in Inman Park and Little Five Points next week.

The film, which stars Jennifer Lopez and Cameron Diaz, and is being produced by Lionsgate Entertainment and WTE Productions Inc., has already shot several scenes in .

On Monday, the cast and crew will be filming scenes in front the Rags-O-Rama store on Euclid Avenue from 6 a.m. to 1 a.m. Tuesday, according to a letter sent to residents and businesses in the affected area.

As part of Monday's and Wednesday's filming, equipment trucks will park in the lot behind Rags-O-Rama and Seven Stages. Other support and catering trucks will park on Euclid Avenue between Waverly Way and Hurt Street during both days as well.

Wednesday's shoot will be at a home on Colquitt Avenue near the Euclid Avenue intersection. Filming is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. is expected to go through the night and end at about 7 a.m. Thursday morning.

"Due to the complicated nature of preparing and executing weather effects, snow and rain, for the scenes we are filming on Colquitt, we have requested from the City of Atlanta a temporary re-route of traffic around Colquitt Avenue, closing it between Euclid and Sinclair on Wednesday," the letter states.

"The re-route time will be from 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 10 until approximately 9:00 a.m. on Thursday morning."

Colquitt Avenue residents will be able to get to their homes during the shooting but will have to enter and exit from the Sinclair Avenue intersection. Residents are to receive signs from the film production crew that they are to place on their vehicle dashboards to show to the off duty Atlanta police officer who will be stationed Colquitt and Sinclair avenues.

"WTE Productions, Inc. is sensitive to the needs of both the merchants and the patrons of the Little Five Points business district, especially in the current economic climate," the letter states. "It is with these issues in mind that we approach the logistical needs of the production so we can work effectively to minimize the inconvenience to those in the neighborhood."
