Ga. Labor Dept. Helping Construction Firm Fill 60 Openings

Metro America hiring framers in Kennesaw.

The Georgia Department of Labor is hosting a recruitment drive Jan. 17 from 10 a.m.  to noon at its Cobb-Cherokee Career Center, to fill 60 construction jobs.

Metro America, a private construction firm, needs framers, who will construct building frames, assemble floors, walls and ceilings.

Requirements:

  • Applicants must have a résumé.
  • Must be able to read a tape measure.
  • Have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Must have at least six months of framing experience.

Starting salary is $14 depending on experience.
