On July 14th members from surrounding neighborhoods got together and weeded and mulched the Freedom Park Bird and Butterfly Garden.

The event was organized by Barry Atwood, volunteer coordinator for the Park Improvement Committee of the Freedom Park Conservancy.

Neighborhoods represented included Candler Park, Lake Claire and Old Fourth Ward.
