The East Atlanta Village Farmers Market, a neighborhood favorite, is back.

Opening day of the market couldn't more picture-perfect: Sunny skies and just-cool-enough temperatures made for a perfect draw.

Of course, the biggest enticement was the vendors themselves, which included Big Daddy Biscuits, Pearson Farm, King of Pops, Hidden Springs Honey, H&F Bread Co., Woodfire Grill and Riverview Farms.

East Atlanta Patch caught up with Danielle Moore of the EAV Farmers Market to get some insight into some of the new additions and activities this year for kids and adults.
