East Atlanta Battle of the Bands
A trio of local bands showed their stuff on Saturday afternoon during the East Atlanta Strut. Watch our video and tell us which is your favorite.
If you missed the annual Strut Music and Arts Festival in East Atlanta Village, you can check out our photos of the parade and watch this video of the informal Battle of the Bands that followed.
The three bands that got down on Glenwood Avenue were:
- The Maynard Jackson High School Band
- The Seed & Feed Marching Abominable
- Wasted Potential Brass Band
So, which band did you think was best? Tell us in the comments area below. And upload your photos and video clips from the fest so your friends and neighbors can see them on Patch!

I'm a bit curious as to why the Seed and Feed Marching Abominables were only in the video for less than a minute. It is not possible to vote on which band is best when one band is barely shown.

Lynn,
Good point. They were wrapping up as I arrived. I've seen them at other community events and they are great. I really wish I'd gotten more footage of their performance!

I love all three bands, and one day I have secret hopes of joining Seed and Feed, but Wasted Potential always makes me smile and dance. I have to vote for them.
