Candler Park Fire Station Temporarily Closing for Renovations
Equipment to temporarily move to East Atlanta and Kirkwood fire stations.

The Atlanta Fire Rescue Department said it is temporarily closing Fire Station 12 in Candler Park for renovations.

As of Oct. 1, Atlanta Fire Rescue Department Fire Station 12, located at 1288 DeKalb Ave. NE, in Candler Park will be temporarily closed for interior renovations.
During the closure, Engine 12 will be temporarily relocated to AFRD Fire Station 13 in East Atlanta at 431 Flat Shoals Ave. SE.
Truck 12 will be temporarily relocated to AFRD Fire Station 18 in Kirkwood at 2007 Oakview Rd. SE.
The fire department anitcipates the renovations will be completeed It is anticipated that AFRD Fire Station 12 renovations will be completed by October 15, 2012.
