Aaron Hillegass, company founder, said the firm, which also has offices in Birmingham and Washington D.C., as well as Amsterdam in the Netherlands, outgrew its Atlanta area space.
The company, which employs 30 in Atlanta, worked with Invest Atlanta, the city's economic development arm for support and permitting assistance.
“It is exciting to support an organization that will play a role in strengthening Atlanta’s economy and global competitiveness,” Brian McGowan, president and CEO of Invest Atlanta, said in a statement. “Atlanta is fortifying its position as one of the country’s premier technology hubs.”
Big Nerd Ranch’s headquarters site will accommodate current staff with enough space scaled to expand as the company grows.
